Sue McInerney joined Napoli Management Group as a talent representative in December of 1999, when her firm, Sue McInerney Talent Management, merged with NMG. Prior to starting her own firm, Sue had a long and successful career in local television news.
She is well respected in the industry and has established a strong reputation with news managers across the country.
Sue believes that a client-agent relationship is a partnership and works hand in hand with her clients to help them achieve their career goals. In her years with NMG, she has successfully placed many clients at all levels.
Sue brings a great deal of knowledge of the ever-changing broadcasting environment to the organization. She spent over 24 years in local news, the last sixteen with CBS (formerly Westinghouse). Sue worked as a News Director at WFOR TV in Miami and spent fourteen years at KDKA TV in Pittsburgh, the last ten as News Director. During her tenure there, Sue was instrumental in the branding process, helping to build the station's news image and improve ratings. Key to the station's success was her ability to recognize breakthrough talent and help them grow into major roles at the station.
Sue began her broadcasting career at WTAE TV in Pittsburgh where she worked as a producer, assignment manager and executive producer. In 1982, she became News Director at WNEP TV in Wilkes-Barre-Scranton, PA. Sue then went on to join KDKA as Executive Producer of Satellite News Channel. She later became Executive Producer of News and then Station Operations Manager, before being named News Director in 1987.
Sue graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, Jim Berry.
