October 4th marked NMG's anniversary. As we begin our 19th year of representing the best on-air talent in the industry ... we want to take a moment to reflect. Over the years we have grown by successfully guiding the careers of our clients, by securing them new and rewarding positions in the industry and by building a strong reputation in the television news business.
It is our job to stay ahead of the curve, to keep informed on the trends and to maintain strong contacts with news managers. Today our 500 clients benefit from the combined experience and efforts of all of the NMG agents.
During the past few months we have attended the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, the National Association of Black Journalists, the Asian American Journalists Association and the Radio Television Digital News Association conventions where we helped our clients connect with network recruiters and news directors from around the country.
2011 is proving to be another banner year for our clients. We have identified hundreds of job openings and placed more than 100 of our clients in new positions, breaking all the records in the business.
